The 24-year-old player partnered with the ministry to speak to more than 150 incarcerated men who filled the prison chapel. The event focused on faith, family and football, according to the post.
“We are God’s masterpieces created in His image,” Anderson said during his visit. “All the accolades are fine, the All-Pros, the Pro Bowls are fine, and to see how I’ve been an impact, how I’ve been an inspiration for the Kingdom, that’s what I’m most proud about.”

Anderson spoke about his journey of growing closer to Jesus Christ and how God uses people to spread his word.
“What God’s been doing back then, He’s still doing now,” Anderson said. “If God was changing lives back then, He’s changing lives now. And to walk in here and to see all the lives that He’s changed, all the people that He’s touched, it’s just been so beautiful to see.”

According to the God Behind Bars post, 30 incarcerated men gave their lives to Jesus during the visit and eight men were baptized. The post said men were in tears as they were prayed over by the NFL players.
“The Lord moved in a way we could not have imagined at San Quentin,” the ministry said in its social media caption.
