SEATTLE, WA (Dakota News Now) -It’s been a whirlwind couple of weeks for Gray Zabel. We were in Pierre for reaction from his home town the night he was drafted in the first round by the Seahawks and he’s already been in camp with his new team in Seattle.
So what’s it been like for the former Governor and North Dakota State standout after that life-changing night in April when he got the call from the Seattle war room?
Grey Zabel, Seattle Seahawks says, “Quick, Surreal, whirlwind of emotions and super fun. Anything you can possibly think of I mean it’s a lifelong dream to say you’ve been drafted let alone by the Seattle Seahawks, so what a surreal experience this past week has been.”
And they are loving the person that Grey is along with his abilities on the football field. He took batting practice with the Mariners and is so genuine, he will be a great addition to the city of Seattle.
