The Kansas City Chiefs made five additions to their coaching staff on Friday as the team continues its preparation for the 2026 campaign.
Here’s the full list of additions:
DeMarco Murray – Running Backs Coach
Chad O’Shea – Wide Receivers Coach
Terry Bradden Jr. – Assistant Defensive Line Coach
Nate Pagan – Offensive Quality Control Coach
CJ Cox – Defensive Quality Control Coach
Murray joins the Chiefs after spending the last six seasons coaching in the same role at his alma mater, the University of Oklahoma, from 2020 through 2025. Notably, Murray helped develop future New England Patriots’ running back Rhamondre Stevenson during his time with the Sooners.
Prior to becoming a coach, Murray – a third-round pick in 2011 – rushed for 7,174 yards and 49 touchdowns during a seven-year playing career.
