Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is sharing a Valentine’s Day greeting with and for his future wife, Taylor Swift.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are in the midst of planning their wedding, now that the Kansas City Chiefs‘ 2025-26 season has wrapped up. Now, Kelce has sent out a special Valentine’s Day greeting with Swift, and it sums up their relationship in a sweet way.
This couple’s love story started back in June of 2023, according to their relationship timeline, when Swift brought her “Eras Tour” to Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium. Little did she know that her life would change forever from that moment on. Later that month, after the show, during an episode of his “New Heights” podcast with his brother Jason, Travis said that he went to her concert and wrote his number on a friendship bracelet to give to her but wasn’t able to get it to her.
“If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it,” he said on the episode.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” he added. “She doesn’t meet anybody, or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal.”

Well, the rest is history, and now, these two are engaged. On Valentine’s Day, February 14, Travis and Jason sent out a handful of digital Valentine’s Day greeting cards on their “New Heights” socials and two of them have to do with Swift.
One says, “Wood you be my Valentine?” That’s a reference to Swift’s song about Kelce on her latest album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”
The other greeting is really fitting, because it says, “Be my loaf story,” with photos of Travis and Swift. That’s a reference to how Swift opened up about her love for making sourdough on “New Heights” when she was a guest in August 2025.
“Y’all had the opportunity to do the funniest thing and you did. Good job,” one follower comments. “These are too good,” another added.
“You just won Valentine’s Day,” another stated. “And you didn’t use a Taylor song on this post?” one asked, joking.
The Timeline for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift Getting Officially Married
So, when are these two getting married? On Wednesday, February 11, Travis and his brother Jason announced that they’re taking a hiatus from their podcast, “New Heights,” and that is making listeners think Travis and Taylor will be getting married soon.
They’re taking six weeks off from the podcast. The brothers usually take a break after the Super Bowl for two to three weeks, and then they’re back in March, but not this year.
Jason announced their hiatus, which he called a “short little break,” during the episode of the show and didn’t give insight into why they were taking time off. He also said that that they had pre-recorded several episodes, so there will still be new content while they’re away.
