The Tennessee Titans haven’t been relevant in the NFL postseason discussion for the past four seasons and are now on their umpteenth head coach & GM combination in five years. But the head coach isn’t the only thing changing about the Titans in 2026.
Fanatics.com recently leaked a new piece of Titans merchandise that had a Titans logo nobody had seen before. Gone were the three shades of blue that the team has become known for and the flames coming off the circle. In its place was a simple, circular logo with the Titans “T” on a red, white and blue background that was reminiscent of its colors as the Houston Oilers from 1960 until the rebrand in 1999.

According to Titans beat writer Easton Freeze of AtoZ Sports, the leaked logo design will be an official mark of the Titans in an upcoming rebrand ahead of the 2026 season.
“Sources confirm that a leaked logo design from fanatics.com is one of the Titans’ newly redesigned marks,” Freeze wrote.
Are the fans buying in?
Nobody likes new things unless they’re a rehash of something old, so the initial response has been very mixed at best. Some feel that it’s a solid logo that pays homage to their four decades as the Oilers while others feel that the logo is lame and boring.

“Boring and pathetic but that’s to be expected from this franchise,” one fan wrote.
“Finally, looks like a team rebrand with heritage,” another remarked.
“Ripoff Houston colors ripoff Steelers logo no thanks,” wrote a third.
“Love it! We no longer have an arena football logo!” a fourth argued.

Times have been tough for the Tennessee Titans. They’re coming off back-to-back 3-14 seasons and just hired Robert Saleh as their new head coach – their second coaching hire in just three years.

The Titans will need more than just a rebrand to reenergize the team in 2026 and beyond.
