Dak Prescott was one of the NFL’s most consistent quarterbacks in 2025. According to one NFL.com writer, Prescott was also among the league’s best at his position.
Earlier this week, NFL.com writer Nick Shook unveiled his rankings of all 63 starting quarterbacks from the 2025 campaign. Prescott came in at No. 3, ranked in Tier 1 with names like Matthew Stafford, Josh Allen, Drake Maye, Justin Herbert and Trevor Lawrence.
“Dak Prescott was the reason the Cowboys finished anywhere near .500 this season. He proved himself as one of the NFL’s best passers, completing a league-high 404 attempts for 4,552 yards and 30 touchdowns,” Shook wrote. “He powered George Pickens’ career-best season and reminded us of his value throughout Dallas’ up-and-down campaign. The hope is that the Cowboys can maximize his talents better in 2026.”
Prescott appeared in all 17 of Dallas’ games in 2025. He completed 67.3% of his passes, throwing for 4,552 yards, 30 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He kept pace with other top passers like Stafford, Allen and Maye as Dallas looked to overcome some defensive troubles.
