One of the most challenging parts of doing a seven-round mock draft is the bookkeeping involved. Just keeping track of what positions each team has taken can be a huge chore. Pro Football Network put together a seven-round draft for the 2026 NFL draft, and we decided to dig through all 10 Steelers‘ picks.
Here is the full rundown of picks for the Steelers.
First round – WR KC Concepcion – Texas A&M
Second round – CB Keionte Scott – Miami
Third round -QB Carson Beck – Miami

Third round – CB Malik Muhammad – Texas
Third round – G Kage Kasey – Boise State
Fourth round – DT Landon Robinson – Navy
Fourth round – OT Jude Bowry – Boston College
Fifth round – DT Zane Durant – Penn State
Sixth round – WR Chase Roberts – BYU
Seventh round – TE Dan Villari – Syracuse
Rather than breakdown each pick individually, let’s look at what we liked and what we didn’t.
We are big fans of cornerback Keionte Scott in the second and guard Kage Kasey in the third. Both guys have rookie starter potential and depending on how free agency goes, could fill significant positions of need.
However, beyond that, there isn’t much to get excited about. Concepcion is too much like guys already on the roster to be thrilled about and the idea of doubling up at cornerback and defensive tackle in the same draft feels like they let the simulator take over the picks. Also, the idea of Carson Beck in the Top 100 picks is a scary thought, considering how inconsistent he was last season. Not addressing safety, inside linebacker and running back are also misses here.
