The Minnesota Vikings’ 2026 schedule features nine home games and eight away games:
Vikings Home Opponents
Chicago Bears
Detroit Lions
Green Bay Packers
Atlanta Falcons
Carolina Panthers
Buffalo Bills
Miami Dolphins
Indianapolis Colts
Washington Commanders
Vikings Away Opponents
Chicago Bears
Detroit Lions
Green Bay Packers
New England Patriots
New Orleans Saints
New York Jets
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
San Francisco 49ers
As customary, six of the Vikings’ 17 games will come against NFC North teams, one apiece at home and on the road.
The NFC North’s intraconference rotation features the NFC South. The Vikings will play the Falcons and Panthers at home, and Saints and Buccaneers on the road.
The NFC North’s interconference rotation features the AFC East. The Vikings will play the Bills and Dolphins at home, and the Patriots and Jets on the road.
The remaining games were determined by their divisional finish (third) last year. They’ll play other teams that finished third: Commanders (NFC East), 49ers (NFC West), and Colts (AFC South). Because it’s the NFC’s turn for nine home games — each NFC team has nine home games in even-numbered seasons — the Vikings game against the Colts is at home.
