Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett in Italy to support his girlfriend, Chloe Kim.
Myles Garrett and Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim have taken their relationship very public, with the Browns pass-rusher issuing an emotional Valentine’s Day message on social media.
Garrett traveled to Italy to support Kim as she chased history in the women’s halfpipe, pursuing a third consecutive Olympic gold. On Valentine’s Day, he marked the moment with a heartfelt message celebrating her resilience, dominance, and the journey it took to get there.
“So proud of you! I’m thankful that I get to be by your side watching the extraordinary things you do,” Garrett said. “You fought through so much to even get to this point and you earned everything and more. The (GOAT), my love and my Valentine. Happy Valentine’s Day babe.”
Kim finished with silver in the women’s snowboard halfpipe after being edged on the final run by 17-year-old Choi Ga-on of South Korea. Choi delivered a clutch third run for a winning score of 90.25, narrowly topping Kim’s best mark of 88.00 to secure gold. Japan’s Mitsuki Ono claimed bronze.
She entered the Games as the two-time defending Olympic champion, having won gold in Pyeongchang in 2018—where she became the youngest women’s Olympic halfpipe winner—and again in Beijing in 2022. A victory in Italy would have made her the first snowboarder, male or female, to capture three consecutive Olympic gold medals in the same event.
Browns DE Myles Garrett’s Hasn’t Had Public Relationship
Having such a public relationship is new for Garrett, who has spent nearly a decade with the Browns. Kim and Garrett were first spotted together publicly in May of 2025 at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in Tokyo, sparking early speculation about their relationship. At the time, neither addressed their status.
The Browns were not shy to highlight the celebrity couple during the season. The Browns shared a video showing Garrett and Kim greeting each other on the sideline before a game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Kim wished him luck, joked about getting makeup on his jersey and shared a quick kiss before kickoff.
“Myles playing on a whole other level since Chloe Kim been around, jus sayin,” the Browns captioned the post.
Kim recently spoke about their relationship on The Today Show, calling him her rock.
“I mean it’s so fun,” Kim said. “He’s truly my best friend. He’s such an amazing addition to my support system. It’s very special, cause I feel like he gets it, he gets what it’s like to be in this position, he gets what it’s like to be an athlete. He understands the pressure and all of that. So, he’s been an amazing person, and, yeah, he’s my rock, my best friend, I’m excited.”
Browns DE Myles Garrett Aiming for MVP
Garrett just collected his second Defensive Player of the Year honor after racking up a NFL single-season record 23 sacks. But Garrett has his eyes on the MVP — an award that has usually been reserved for offensive players.
“I feel like QBs have MVP on lock because they have the ball in their hand pretty much every play,” Garrett said during a panel appearance with Green Bay Packers star Micah Parsons. “It’s too easily handed to them.
“I feel like we’re not taking into account with the things that we do. A lot of the numbers that we have, you have to go to like advanced metrics to see how good you [Parsons] are at what you do or I am or what I do. So, to the casual guy who’s just looking at the scoreboard, he’s like ‘Well, you know Sam Darnold threw for four touchdowns. He’s got to be MVP.’ It’s like, Micah had 10 pressures. He also lost three rushes all day. That’s incredible, but that’s not as easily seen as touchdowns, yards, catches, rushes and all that.”
Garrett and the Browns are still looking for their next defensive coordinator after Jim Schwartz resigned after being passed over for the head coaching job in favor of Todd Monken.
