Who is the most underappreciated player on the New York Giants?
When that question is posed, most minds immediately jump to skill positions or players in key defensive roles. Rarely does anyone consider the offensive line, especially considering its many faults over the past decade.

But things have changed, albeit slightly. No longer do the Giants have the worst O-line in football and while it’s nothing to write home about, there are some hidden gems. At least in the eyes of NFL Media’s Gennaro Filice.
During a recent exercise in which he broke down each team’s most underappreciated player, Filice settled on versatile offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor for the Giants.
A versatile offensive lineman who began his NFL career at guard, Eluemunor started last season as New York’s right tackle, but injuries eventually forced him over to the blind side. Starting the final four games of the season at LT, the London native allowed just one sack and two pressures, according to PFF. With Andrew Thomas returning to health, Eluemunor will be back at RT for a contract season in 2025. Although the Giants are his fourth NFL team, the former fifth-round pick could be due for a healthy raise if he continues to thrive. And an influx of loot could come in handy, as the big man has an eye for style.
Eluemunor has been a fan favorite from Day 1 and his willingness to play wherever is needed has also endeared him to those in East Rutherford. He’s been a stabilizing presence and should the offensive line remain healthy in 2025, could cash in as Filice suggests.
