Travis Hunter‘s rookie season started with promise before an abrupt injury cut it short, but the Jacksonville Jaguars star is spending the offseason happily with his growing family. Recently, his wife Leanna Lenee caught significant attention from WNBA star Angel Reese.

The No. 2 overall pick displayed his impressive two-way potential early for Jacksonville, helping turn around a franchise that went 4-13 in 2024 to a 13-4 division-winning campaign under first-year head coach Liam Coen.

Hunter caught 28 passes for 298 yards and a touchdown while playing 67% of offensive snaps in seven games. On defense, he recorded 15 tackles and three pass breakups in those appearances. But then, a non-contact LCL tear during practice before Week 9 ended his season and required surgery.

He is spending time with his family, including his wife and their son born in August. In the process, Lenee recently posted her vacation photos from a beach getaway, showing the 24-year-old in a light blue dress against a sunset backdrop.

Reese, also on her offseason although she has signed up to rejoin the Unrivaled league on Saturday, saw the post as soon as Lenee dropped it on Instagram. The Chicago Sky forward immediately sent her message in the comments, penning, “pretty mothaaaaa😍”

The “Chi Barbie” and Lenee share a great bond, and their friendship is public right now. Reese defended Hunter’s wife from online criticism after the Heisman Trophy ceremony, telling followers to “let them be happy.”

Later, Reese also supported Lenee after she shared an emotional TikTok about her personal growth, commenting, “so proud of you bby! the storm doesn’t last forever!”

Hunter and Lenee tied the knot in May after dating since 2022. Recent social media activity from January shows the family on vacation in Anguilla, where their son was pictured taking his first steps on the sand with his parents’ support.

For now, the Jaguars plan to use him mainly at cornerback next season, with some snaps at receiver, reversing how they used him as a rookie, according to NFL.com.
