Harrison’s rookie campaign featured many highs and lows for the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 draft. Harrison found the end zone in seven different games — including scoring two touchdowns against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2 — but only surpassed 100 receiving yards twice. Despite the rollercoaster type of season, Harrison led all Arizona WRs in targets (116), receptions (62), receiving yards (885) and receiving touchdowns (eight).
Toward the end of the 2024 campaign, quarterback Kyler Murray openly discussed their on-field chemistry not being where it needed to be in the duo’s first season together. Murray has since said it’s something he wants to develop and “be better” at with Harrison by his side for the years to come. Their connection remains a work in progress through this offseason as the pair continues striving to make working in tandem second nature.
“I feel like we should be able to go out there with our eyes closed and complete 100% of our passes,” Harrison said of his chemistry with Murray. “That’s the goal you want to get to with timing.”
There’s plenty of work to be done in the desert, but the second-year wideout is nonetheless positive about the Cardinals’ chances in the season ahead.
“I’m very confident in what we have offensively,” Harrison said. “From top to bottom, the quarterback, offensive line, skill positions, I think we have everything we need to accomplish our goals.”
