The Seattle Seahawks are coming off a season in which they beat the New England Patriots to become Super Bowl champions. A large part in them winning the Super Bowl was the performance from Kenneth Walker. In the game, Walker went on to rush for 135 yards over 27 attempts.

Despite his performance in this game, and the season in general which saw him produce 1,027 yards and five touchdowns, it was reported that the Seahawks don’t intend to franchise tag Walker. With Walker set to hit the free agent market, the Seahawks are left in an intriguing spot.

While they have Zach Charbonnet on the roster, they need another running back still to split the load with him. They could bank on George Holani taking a major leap, but if they want to continue to build on the 2025 season, they can’t take that risk.

Instead Seattle can turn to free agency, and a running back they can look to sign is Isiah Pacheco.

After the poor 2025 season the Kansas City Chiefs had, they undoubtedly will be looking to restructure the team a bit. While Isiah Pacheco emerged early on as an impactful running back, he had taken a few steps back in recent seasons due to dealing with injuries.

This could lead to a split between the two as it seems like it could be best for both sides. If this is the case, the team that makes sense to sign Pacheco is the Seahawks.

When fully healthy, Pacheco has been able to showcase his physical rushing style that is able to help an offense drive down the field.
