GREEN BAY (WLUK) — If you’re a big fan of the Green Bay Packers, a green-and-gold history buff or just looking for your next great read, Jerry Kramer might have the book for you.

In fact, he’ll even sign it.

The Packers Pro Shop is hosting a special book signing and meet-and-greet event with the Packers legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer as their featured guest. Kramer will be autographing copies of his 256-page book “Run To Win: My Packers Life from Lombardi to Canton” from 4-6 p.m. Monday.

No other memorabilia can be autographed at this event, Packers officials said.

Kramer co-authored the book with Bob Fox, a writer who served as the supervising producer for the documentary “You Can If You Will: The Jerry Kramer Story.”

“Run to Win” tells the story of Kramer’s life, beginning with his youth in Idaho, all the way through his NFL career with Green Bay and the long wait to receive his Hall of Fame bust.

According to the Packers’ website, the book offers “insightful discourse on perseverance, teamwork and what it means to be great. From playing for the legendary Vince Lombardi era to his remarkable journey to Canton, ‘Run to Win’ provides a new perspective on Kramer’s experiences… Kramer shares his unforgettable journey playing in one of the most legendary periods of the club’s history.”

Commentary from Kramer’s teammates and fellow Hall of Famers, including Jim Taylor, Forrest Gregg, Willie David, Bart Starr and Emlen Tunnell, is also featured in the book.

Now 90 years old, Kramer was drafted by Green Bay in 1958 and played offensive line for the Packers for 11 seasons. During that time, he was part of five NFL championships and two Super Bowl wins and was named first-team All-Pro five times.

In 2018, Kramer was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

“Run to Win: My Packers Life From Lombardi to Canton” costs $30 and is available for purchase both in-store and online at the Pro Shop. Copies will also be available at the book signing.

Kramer co-wrote his first book “Instant Replay: The Green Bay Diary of Jerry Kramer” with sportswriter Dick Schapp in 1968.
