Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons was ranked among Pro Football Focus’ Top 101 players from the 2025 NFL season.

Simmons was awarded the honors for his performance last season. The 28-year-old recorded 11 sacks in 2025. He also went for 21 quarterback hits and 17 tackles for loss, in addition to three forced fumbles on the year. Opposing passing attacks weren’t safe from Simmons, as he also registered three passes defended.

Pro Football Focus recognized Simmons’ efforts in 2025 by ranking him at No. 22 overall on their top 101 players list.

Simmons wasn’t fazed by the Titans’ unraveling 2025 season. His 88.3 PFF overall grade was a career high, with that figure primarily fueled by top-tier performance against the pass. He paced all qualified interior defenders in PFF pass-rush grade (91.4), pass-rush win rate (19.4%) and pass-rush productivity score (8.8).

Simmons’ explosiveness off the line of scrimmage enabled him to place pressure on opposing quarterbacks throughout the season. His season came with distinction, having been named first-team All-Pro in 2025.

Simmons has also been lauded by his peers, notably being Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Quinnen Williams’ pick to win the 2026 AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year award.
