For the Arizona Cardinals, the big question this offseason is what the franchise does with quarterback Kyler Murray.

It does appear that Kyler’s time in Arizona is coming to an end, with Murray being the subject of several trade proposals in the media to seek a fresh start in his NFL career.

But new Cardinals head coach Mike LaFleur might have a different view on Kyler than the rest of the NFL.

However, when asked about his current franchise quarterback’s future, LaFleur gave an odd response.

“Just like everything else on the roster, open conversations in this building,” LaFleur said via the Cardinals’ website. “No timeframe on that.”

No timeframe on Kyler?

Given that the NFL’s free agency period is coming like a freight train, one would think the Cardinals might have a little sense of urgency to figure out Murray’s future.

With several teams in need of a quarterback, getting the lay of the land early and finding out what you could possibly get for Murray before the free agency window opens is good business.

But LaFleur doesn’t appear to be in a rush with Murray, for whatever reason.

However, the time will come sooner rather than later that the Cardinals will have to make a decision on Murray’s future, even if LaFleur doesn’t appear to be in a rush right now.

Which is a little odd to us.
