The Chargers have lots of work to do in order to take the next steps in going to a Super Bowl. The majority of the NFL reporters/broadcasters believe the Chargers will take the best available player in the draft. Daniel Jeremiah said “Chargers General Manager Joe Hortiz] is going to take the best player. He’s not going to worry about what you have in certain spots.”
The Chargers have a cap space of $82 million, the organization will build by adding the best available free agents that best fits the team’s needs. Jim Harbaugh definitely will be ready to get the team whoever the front office adds in the free agent market as well as the NFL draft.
The Chargers have the no.22 pick, and hold picks No. 55 and No. 86. One option the Chargers might be looking at for the draft is the Offensive Line. The Chargers Offensive Line was average this past season, so Jim Harbaugh and the Chargers front office staff and coaches will be looking at any prospect to draft.
