The Houston Texans’ 2026 schedule features eight home games and nine away games:
Texans Home Opponents
Indianapolis Colts
Jacksonville Jaguars
Tennessee Titans
Baltimore Ravens
Cincinnati Bengals
Buffalo Bills
Dallas Cowboys
New York Giants
Texans Away Opponents
Indianapolis Colts
Jacksonville Jaguars
Tennessee Titans
Cleveland Browns
Pittsburgh Steelers
Los Angeles Chargers
Green Bay Packers
Philadelphia Eagles
Washington Commanders
As customary, six of the Texans’ 17 games will come against AFC South teams, one apiece at home and on the road.
The AFC South’s intraconference rotation features the AFC North. The Texans will play the Ravens and Bengals at home, and Browns and Steelers on the road.
The AFC South’s interconference rotation features the NFC East. The Texans will play the Cowboys and Giants at home, and the Eagles and Commanders on the road.
The remaining games were determined by their divisional finish (second) last year. They’ll play other teams that finished second: Chargers (AFC West), Bills (AFC East), and Packers (NFC North). Because it’s the AFC’s turn for nine road games — each AFC team has nine road games in even-numbered seasons — the Texans game against the Packers is on the road.
