The Cincinnati Bengals announced two players were re-signed on Friday with just a few weeks until NFL free agency.Cornerback Jalen Davis and running back Kendall Milton both signed one-year deals to return to the Bengals in 2026.Davis, 30, will play his seventh season with the Bengals, after initially signing with Cincinnati in 2020.Davis was signed by the Miami Dolphins after going undrafted in 2018 and also spent time with the Arizona Cardinals’ organization.Davis has played 59 games with the Bengals since he signed, including three starts. He’s totaled 47 total tackles, including a career-high 20 in 2025, along with three forced fumbles, three tackles for loss and one interception.With DJ Turner II and Dax Hill on the outside, Davis found a role as a nickelback with the Bengals last season and could see an even bigger role in 2026 under second-year defensive coordinator Al Golden.Milton, who went undrafted out of Georgia in 2024, has spent the majority of the last two seasons on Cincinnati’s practice squad.The 24-year-old running back has played in three games for the Bengals in the last two seasons, and picked up the first two rushing attempts of his career against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 11 of the 2025 season.Milton’s practice squad contract for the 2025 season expired on Jan. 12.The new NFL league year and free agency signing period officially begins on March 11.
