New Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Declan Doyle caused quite a few waves recently with his comments about Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Doyle has all but demanded that Jackson show up to offseason workouts.

“We would expect them to be here, and certainly it is voluntary,” Doyle said about his expectations for players attending those sessions, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN. “But also, if you want to say that you’re going to win a championship, you want to say that you have championship standards and those are your goals and your expectations, certainly that’s going to take work.

That’s going to take collaboration, that’s going to take the beginning of building the relationship with their coaches [and] other players, starting this next regime on the right foot.”

Those comments did not sit well at all with Ochocinco, who went in on the Ravens’ coordinator.

“You don’t do that coming in as a new coach! He said. It’s dumb, and it’s stupid! Why would you piss off your QB with a message like that! It’s stupid!

Shannon Sharpe tried to calm his partner down, but his partner remained angry. Ocho thinks that Jackson may not even show up to OTAs because of these comments.

Sharpe thinks Doyle was wrong and pointed out that maybe Jackson should show up to OTAs if he wants to win a Super Bowl.

“Tell me the quarterback you don’t think didn’t participate in OTA’s last year Ocho,” Sharpe said. “I’ll tell you what, he’s going to be more pissed if he doesn’t win a Super Bowl.”
