The Tennessee Titans have several goals this offseason. One of those goals is to add weapons for Cam Ward to target on the field. Calvin Ridley has been underwhelming since putting on a Titans uniform, and none of the young players have proven they will be stars in this league yet, so adding a veteran receiver who can take some of the pressure off of Ridley is ideal.

Bleacher Report recently named one dream scenario for every NFL team, and they addressed this very issue, suggesting the Titans trade with the Dallas Cowboys for wide receiver George Pickens.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport expects the Cowboys to franchise-tag George Pickens, but he also sees the possibility of a tag-and-trade situation in which Dallas nets a second- or third-round pick in return for him.

The Titans have their Day 2 picks for the upcoming draft and $104.8 million in cap space. They have the resources to strike a deal for Pickens if the Cowboys are open for business.

Pickens was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He played his first three seasons in the NFL with the Steelers before they traded him to the Cowboys, which was largely due to his maturity and personality conflicts in the locker room. However, those issues were less frequent in 2025, and the Titans desperately need another veteran receiver.

Coming off of his best season yet, Pickens caught 93 passes for 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns in 2025. The Titans’ leading pass catcher in 2025 was Chig Okonkwo with 560 yards. Another weapon is absolutely vital to the success of this offense.
