It is an exciting time to be a Las Vegas Raiders fan. They have a new head coach with Klint Kubiak, a new system, and a potential franchise quarterback on the way.
Following a season in which the Raiders had a 3-14 record, it was clear that they needed a total revamp this NFL offseason. They have done a good job of starting with building the coaching staff correctly, but now they need that success to continue with the roster construction.
Especially for a team that lacks talent across numerous spots on the team.
Let’s take a look at day one, two, and three options for the Raiders to consider in the 2026 NFL Draft.
At this point, there is not much to say about Mendoza to the Raiders. He will come in and start day one and be the person they need to raise their floor. While the ceiling is a question, there is little doubt about Mendoza’s ability to bring the Raiders back to relevance Â
When you draft a quarterback high, an offensive tackle typically follows. Miller can come in and provide both an instant and long-term boost to their offensive line. In 2025, he posted elite blocking numbers across the board including an 83.5 PFF pass blocking grade. The Raiders have been ‘cute’ in the last few drafts, but I would expect a heavy dose of positions that hold a ton of value in this draft.Â
While it is not the same as adding Mendoza’s college wide receiver, Fisher would provide a familiar face. Fisher will be able to provide stability in the middle of this Raiders defense. It seems as if the Raiders have been searching for a solid long-term linebacker for so long. In 2025, Fisher posted solid averages against the run and the pass, which cemented his value late in the draft.
