New York Jets
The New York Jets continue to be stuck in purgatory, but maybe this will be the draft that turns it around. After trading away two studs on defense in Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams, while also having no quarterback set in place, the options for the Jets are truly endless in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Some of the biggest needs the Jets must look to address is quarterback, defensive line, cornerback, wide receiver, and linebacker.

Top 3 NFL Draft Fits for the New York Jets

Let’s take a look at the day one, two, and three prospects that fit in New York.

Denzel Boston, WR, Washington: Day One

The Jets will more than likely take an elite defender with the second overall pick which opens up the opportunity to draft Boston with their second first rounder. Boston is a bigger body option but still maintains smooth route running and explosiveness.

Drafting Denzel Boston creates a very fun duo with Garrett Wilson which should provide a massive boost on offense.

Denzel Boston 2025 Stats:

62 Receptions
881 Yards
11 Touchdowns

Dontae Corleone, DT, Cincinnati: Day 2

The Jets need to raise the floor of their defense and adding a solid defensive tackle prospect to the mix will help that. After losing Quinnen Williams it makes sense to replace him with one in the draft. While Corleone had a bit of a down year, his 2024 was too elite to overlook. He will come in and provide great run defense while polishing up his pass rushing ability.

Dontae Corleone 2025 Stats:

80.9 PFF Run Defense Grade
5% Pass Rush Win Rate
7 QB Pressures

Cade Klubnik, QB, Clemson: Day Three

It was not long ago where Klubnik was hyped up as a round one draft prospect. The Jets are in a position where they do not have much to lose by starting a mid-to-late round rookie quarterback. They can give this young athletic quarterback a chance to show what he can do before potentially drafting one next summer. If he plays well and they succeed, then awesome you found a quarterback, if he sucks, then oh well, time for another quarterback. The boom-or-bust style is not for everyone, but it makes perfect sense for the Jets.

Cade Klubnik 2025 Stats:

65.2 Completion Percentage
2,946 Passing Yards
16 Passing Touchdowns
4 Rushing Touchdowns
