The road back to the playoffs is not going to be easy for the Los Angeles Rams. Sure, they’re co-favorites to win the Super Bowl, but their 2026 schedule is going to be incredibly difficult.

We’ve already looked at each team’s strength of schedule for next year, but that was by using their opponents’ winning percentage from last season. As we know, past performance isn’t always an indication of future success.

Instead, let’s look at the projected win totals of every Rams opponent in 2026, which were released by DraftKings Sportsbook this week. The Rams’ projected win total is 10.5, making them one of 10 teams with that total.

The bad news is, they will face seven of the other nine teams with projected win totals of 10.5 – including the Seahawks and 49ers twice each. Here’s a look at the over/under for every opponent on the Rams’ schedule, sorted from highest to lowest.

Seahawks: 10.549ers: 10.5Packers: 10.5Chiefs: 10.5Chargers: 10.5Bills: 10.5Eagles: 10.5Broncos: 9.5Cowboys: 8.5Buccaneers: 8.5Giants: 7.5Commanders: 7.5Raiders: 6.5Cardinals: 4.5Expert NFL picks: Exclusive betting insights only at USA TODAY.

There are not a lot of easy games on the Rams’ 2026 schedule, as you can see above. Their weakest opponent is the Cardinals, who they will fortunately get to face twice. But, it’s worth noting that Mike LaFleur is their new head coach, so he knows the Rams inside and out.

The Giants and Commanders could be better than last season if both Jaxson Dart and Jayden Daniels are healthy, and the Raiders are clearly projected to take a big step forward under new coach Klint Kubiak and with Fernando Mendoza likely as their quarterback.

The median opponent win total for the Rams’ schedule is 10.5 when counting each divisional opponent twice, showing just how difficult the path to the playoffs will be. Los Angeles is certainly capable of beating anyone but it will face a big test most weeks in 2026.
