Eagles fans — or Philly sports fans, in general — are known to be some of the most loyal and intense there are. It makes for a setting at the Linc that Daniels clearly embraces.
Unfortunately for Daniels, it’s an environment he’s yet to emerge from victorious.
As a rookie, Daniels bested the Eagles in a Week 16 matchup in Maryland, but tasted defeat twice in Philadelphia — first in a Week 11 loss and again in a season-ending NFC Championship Game setback.
In his second season, Daniels was derailed by knee, hamstring and elbow injuries, missing a combined 10 games, including both matchups against the rival Eagles.
As Daniels aims to rebound from a disappointing sophomore NFL campaign and come back from a dislocated left elbow, he should have at least one more shot in Philly during the 2026 season.
And playing in Philly always adds a bit more fuel to Daniels’ fire.
“Yeah, for sure,” he said about games in Philadelphia holding extra motivation. “If you go out there [and] you can beat Philly in Philly, that’s a different type. But their fans bring it, man. Especially as we’re rivals with them in the NFC East. I love playing against them.”
