Isaiah Likely appears ready to depart after four years in Baltimore, as the athletic tight end will test free agency for the first time with plenty of suitors on the open market. Likely has made it clear that he’s loved his time with the Ravens, but looks forward to “blossoming” and helping his team win games.
“I love Baltimore. They took the chance on me when all 31 didn’t,” Likely said of his mindset on Gruden Goes Long. “At the end of the day, I tell everybody Baltimore is home for me. But business is business, so I’m really just seeing what’s going to happen.”
Likely had his training camp derailed by a broken foot during a one-on-one drill amid reports that he was set to sign a new contract. He missed the start of the season and finished with 27 catches on 36 targets for 307 yards, all career lows. Likely’s down season opened the door for Mark Andrews to return on a three-year $39.3 million extension with $26 million guaranteed.

Still, he’s a dynamic playmaker and was one of Jackson’s most explosive targets, and since joining the Ravens as a 2022 fourth-round pick, he’s had 1,568 yards and 15 TDs on 135 catches.
His potential departure could see Baltimore target a tight end early, while Likely will have suitors on the open market, and we’re looking at four teams that could be interested.

The Eagles knew when to move on from Zach Ertz, and they could make a similar decision with Dallas Goedert. While Likely isn’t a homegrown option, he’s younger and just as explosive.
New England Patriots
Hunter Henry had one of the best seasons of his career, and he appeared in all 21 games and finished with 69 catches for 880 yards and eight touchdowns. Still, Likely could give Drake Maye a solid duo at tight end.

Kansas City Chiefs
Travis Kelce can’t play forever, and the Ravens pass catcher could be the tight end to pair with Patrick Mahomes heading into the future.
Washington Commanders
Last season, Ertz put up a stat line of 49 receptions for 493 yards and four touchdowns at age 35, but he is coming off a serious knee injury. The Commanders have seen Likely up close and have almost $80 million in cap space.
Tennessee Titans
The Titans have Brian Daboll at offensive coordinator and could break the bank to pair Likely with 2025 No. 1 overall pick, Cam Ward.
Wild Card team: Atlanta Falcons
With Kevin Stefanski as the head coach, Likely would be a great fit with the Falcons as a complement to wide receiver Drake London and running back Bijan Robinson, giving Michael Penix Jr. a viable option.
