Hello! I’m Isaac Sáenz, I’m 40 years old, and my life has been shaped by yards, touchdowns, and an unbreakable love for the HOUSTON TEXANS.
My story with the HOUSTON TEXANS isn’t a coincidence; it’s a bond that was born in 2002, when I was just 17 years old. Back then, as I was taking my first steps as a player in this beautiful sport, a wonderful new NFL team came into the world—one that captivated me instantly. I immediately connected with the strength of their logo, the elegance of their colors, and the electric energy of the city of Houston.
What began as a personal hobby quickly became a way of life—one I now share with the people I love most. My wife and my children don’t just join me on this journey; they are the driving force behind this passion. Together, we became part of the SOMOS TEXANS MÉXICO fan club, where we found more than supporters—we found an extended family rooted in enthusiasm and respect.
Thanks to this community, we’ve lived moments that feel straight out of a dream:
• Unforgettable gatherings with the cheerleaders and the official mascot, TORO.
• Close encounters with former players and current roster stars.
• Family holiday celebrations with fellow TEXANS fans.
• Active participation in every club event, strengthening our family bonds through the sport we love.
Last year, life gave me one of the greatest experiences ever: traveling with Somos Texans México to support the team at home. Being in the stadium, feeling the vibration of the crowd, and watching our TEXANS defeat the Titans was a victory we celebrated with our whole hearts.
Today, when I look back, I’m filled with emotion knowing that the 17 year old kid playing football never imagined he would go this far as a fan. Being named INTERNATIONAL FAN OF THE YEAR is an honor I receive with humility and pride. It’s not just a title—it’s a recognition of years of loyalty, of those nerve wracking Sundays with family, and of unconditional love for the HOUSTON TEXANS.
