PULLMAN, Wash. (Feb. 23, 2026) – The Washington State University football team will begin its spring practice schedule Thursday, March 26, the first of 15 practice dates that conclude April 25 with the annual Crimson and Gray Game at Gesa Field. Additionally, the Cougars will hold open practices at Edgar Brown Memorial Stadium, Saturday, March 28 in Pasco, and at Union Stadium in Spokane on April 4. Following those practices, coaches and players will hold an hour-long kids clinic on the field.

This spring marks the first under head coach Kirby Moore who was named the Cougars’ 36th head coach on Dec. 12, 2025. Moore and his coaching staff enter the spring with 37 newcomers on the spring roster.

Throughout March and April, the Cougars will practice Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at the Taylor Sports Complex, Rogers Field and Gesa Field. Practices will be open to the media with interviews to follow. Throughout spring, practices are scheduled to begin at 7:45 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 11:45 a.m. on Saturdays. The only exception is the practice in Spokane will begin at 11 a.m. Times are subject to change.

 

The Crimson and Gray Game will be played Saturday, April 25 at Gesa Field, time to be announced.
