They beat the Chiefs 12-0 as Shannon Lucas scored on a 25-yard run and Danny Thomas returned an interception for a touchdown. The second game was a 7-6 overtime loss to OG Central. John Lucas had a kickoff return for the Southwest All-Stars’ touchdown.
The 12U team included Titans lineman Mykael Collins, safety Sydney Ryals, and linebacker/fullback Albert Dotson Jr. Their team lost both of its games.
“I enjoyed getting the chance to coach. I hope I get to do it again next year,” David Jones said.
