Former NFL quarterback Sean Mannion is the new offensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles. The article identifies ten potential free-agent or trade targets for the Eagles this offseason.Key offensive targets mentioned include tight end Kyle Pitts and wide receivers Alec Pierce and Romeo Doubs.Defensive players of interest include OLB Trey Hendrickson and safeties Bryan Cook and Jaquan Brisker.

The Sean Mannion era is underway in Philadelphia. Nick Sirianni is the head coach, but the Eagles‘ future fortunes will lie in the creativity of a former NFL quarterback and fast-rising coach. Mannion was hired to Matt LaFleur’s coaching staff as an offensive assistant working with quarterbacks under Tom Clements. LaFleur promoted Mannion to quarterbacks coach in 2025.

Mannion is widely credited with playing an instrumental role in Malik Willis’s development, who went from a bust in Tennessee to the most valued free-agent quarterback available. A former NFL quarterback and 2015 third-round pick, Mannion, 33, played four seasons with the Rams, three seasons with the Vikings, and one season in Seattle with the Seahawks as a backup quarterback.

With the off-season officially underway, we’re looking at ten big-name targets Philadelphia could have an interest in adding to the roster.

Atlanta Falcons: TE Kyle Pitts

A tight end who can play like a wide receiver (88 catches for 928 yards and five touchdowns), Pitts only needs to improve as a run blocker to earn elite status.

The New England Patriots signed K’Lavon Chaisson to a one-year, $3 million deal last offseason, and they could be looking to keep him around, but if he departs, he’d be an immediate plug-and-play option. On a team heading to the AFC title game, Chaisson started 10 games in a limited role, which has since expanded, recording 31 tackles, 7.5 sacks (second-most on the team), and a fumble-return touchdown. He set career highs in sacks and tackles for a loss this season.

New York Jets: OL Alijah Vera-Tucker

Before his 2025 injury, Vera-Tucker earned three straight seasons of 70.0-plus PFF overall grades and allowed the fourth-lowest pressure rate (2.8 percent) among guards in 2024.

Hendrickson, 31, was coming off back-to-back 17.5-sack seasons and four straight Pro Bowls before contract frustrations and core muscle surgery in December limited him to four sacks in seven games in 2025. He got a one-year, $29 million deal from the Bengals last year, but isn’t likely to draw as much this time around. Hendrickson needs 19 sacks to reach 100 for his career and could take this defense to another level.

A vertical deep threat at 6-foot-3 and 211 pounds, Pierce averaged a league-best 21.3 yards per catch in 2025. He also topped the 1,000-yard receiving mark and brought in six touchdowns.

Kansas City Chiefs: DB Bryan Cook

A rangy safety with elite speed, the 2022 second-round pick is the highest-ranked player at his position in free agency. He had six pass breakups in 2025, playing 82.6% of Kansas City’s defensive snaps.

The dynamic safety missed 11 games in the 2024 season due to the third concussion of his career, and entered the final year of his contract with question marks about his durability. Brisker responded with 17 games started, logging 93 total tackles, eight passes defended, one sack, and one interception.

Green Bay Packers: WR Romeo Doubs

Doubs has the route-running skills and quickness to dominate over the middle. Doubs averaged 13.2 yards per reception and caught five of his six touchdowns on red zone targets.

C Tyler Linderbaum

His pass block win rate of 97.2% tied for second among 31 qualifying centers this season, and he could allow Cam Jurgens to move back to the offensive guard position.

Odafe Oweh

After getting traded from the Ravens on October 7, Oweh had 7.5 sacks and 27 pressures in Los Angeles. He recorded three sacks in the team’s wild-card loss to the Patriots.

TE Isaiah Likely: UFA

Age: 26

Likely had his training camp derailed by a broken foot, and it was inconsistent from there. His training camp was cut short after he broke his foot in late July during a one-on-one drill. He missed the start of the season and finished with 27 catches on 36 targets for 307 yards, all career lows.

Chicago Bears: CB Nahshon Wright

Wright, 27, logged five interceptions and two forced fumbles, earning a Pro Bowl.

Bryant, 26, is a 2022 fourth-round pick who has shifted from corner to safety and has seven interceptions over the last two seasons.
