Ohio State linebacker Arvell Reese was ranked at No. 4 on Daniel Jeremiah’s top 50 NFL Draft prospect rankings 2.0, in line with the Tennessee Titans owning the No. 4 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Reese recorded 69 total tackles, 6.5 sacks, and five hurries in 2025. The Ohio native is widely regarded as one of the 10 best prospects in this year’s draft class. The Titans, meanwhile, finished the regular season tied for the worst record in the NFL at 3-14. They lost the tiebreaker to the Las Vegas Raiders, New York Jets, and the Arizona Cardinals, respectively. Yet, they are still in the running to have Reese fall to them at No. 4 on draft day.

Jeremiah spoke on where Reese best projects at the next level, which aligns with Tennessee’s most pressing need.

“Reese is a fluid and explosive athlete,” Jeremiah said. “Ohio State used him as a chess piece on defense. He aligned off the ball at linebacker, on the edge as a rusher and occasionally was deployed as a QB spy. He projects best as an edge rusher at the next level.”

Reese was ranked as the second-highest rated edge rusher behind Texas Tech’s David Bailey, who was ranked No. 3 overall. Reese’s ability to man multiple slots on defense offers much to the Titans for next season. Tennessee looks to establish a “fast and violent” defense in 2026 under coach Robert Saleh. Reese is a potential candidate to join a Titans defensive unit led by 2025 first-team All-Pro defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons next season.
