As the Denver Broncos finish rounding out their 90-man roster prior to training camp, the team is looking to create depth to an offensive line that was one of the best in the NFL in 2024. One of the pieces the Broncos have invested in is offensive lineman Clay Webb.

Webb (6-3, 310 pounds) comes to the Broncos as one of the best Conference USA offensive line prospects in the 2025 NFL draft class as a member of the Jackson State University Gamecocks. Webb started his collegiate career at Georgia, from 2019-21. Webb later transferred to Jackson State prior to the 2022 season, where he played in 36 games over three years, starting 32 of them.

In 2023, Webb earned second-team Associated Press All-American and second-team All-Conference USA honors. In 2024, Webb was upgraded to first-team All-Conference USA honors after starting all 14 games during the season.

Prior to being signed as an undrafted free agent, Webb was named the No. 2 undrafted offensive lineman by NFL.com’s Chad Reuter. Webb’s signing had been the source of some controversy, as he was followed by an alleged bullying incident and ensuing lawsuit from high school. Earlier this month, it was announced that the lawsuit against Webb was dismissed in April, before the NFL draft.
