All eyes are on Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans with free agency fast approaching.

We know that Evans has stated his desire to return in 2026, but who he will be playing for is up for debate, as the receiver is keeping his options open.

The Buccaneers loom as the front-runners, but if Evans is chasing a Super Bowl, he may have to look elsewhere this offseason.

For general manager Jason Licht, he’s made the franchise’s stance on Mike’s future rather clear.

“We’ll have a lot of conversations with him,” Licht said. “We have very open line of communication with his agent and his agents, and also with Mike. I talked to Mike he’s earned the right to do this and to do what’s best for him, and he knows that we’d love to have him back.”

Will Evans return to Buccaneers?

If we are being honest, all options are on the table, and you can make a case for both Evans being a Buccaneer and him moving on.

So, exactly what Evans is feeling as he looks towards the 2026 season is unknown, but one thing is clear, his mind isn’t made up.

The Buccaneers have plenty of offensive weapons if Evans does look to move elsewhere, but replacing the franchise great looms as an impossible task.

Tampa Bay wants Evans; let’s see if Evans still wants Tampa Bay.
