The 2026 league year is coming next month. It officially begins on March 11, with the legal negotiating period beginning on March 9.
The Arizona Cardinals have many roster decisions to make before then.
Leading up to the new league year, we will profile every player on the roster, go over what they did last season, what their contract status is and what they face in 2026.
Next up is wide receiver Tejhaun Palmer.
Tejhaun Palmer 2025 season
Palmer, a 2024 sixth-round draft pick, spent almost the entire season on the practice squad for the second straight year. He was signed to the active roster before the final game of the season and made his NFL debut in Week 18. He played four offensive snaps and two on special teams. He did not have a reception and was not targeted.

When he was signed to the roster, the Cardinals signed him through 2026. He is under contract and is scheduled to make $1.005 million. He will be an exclusive rights free agent in 2027.
Tejhaun Palmer offseason outlook
Palmer is on the roster, so he will at least begin the offseason with the team. He was not drafted by the coaching staff, so we will see if they have the same patience for developing him that the last staff had.
He has a long way to go to be considered even a dark horse to make the active roster.
