NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo reported on Feb. 5 that Dickerson’s future was uncertain due to mounting injuries for the 27-year-old guard.

However, Dickerson’s back, just as teammate Lane Johnson is. The right tackle announced he would return for a 14th season just six days prior. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Johnson was one of the first to like Dickerson’s post.

Dickerson, who tore his ACL twice in college, had knee surgery during training camp last year. His ill fortune continued in Week 1 when he suffered a back injury and he injured his ankle on multiple occasions later in the season.

A hallmark of recent Eagles success, the Philadelphia offensive line wasn’t its usual dominant self in 2025, with the squad struggling to find its offensive footing and falling short of a Super Bowl repeat by way of a wild-card loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

With a banged-up Dickerson playing 15 games and Johnson missing seven contests, reasons for those tribulations weren’t all that difficult to pin down.

With Dickerson and Johnson now onboard for 2026, the Eagles should have their entire starting front five back and hopefully healthy: left tackle Jordan Mailata, left guard Dickerson, center Cam Jurgens, right guard Tyler Steen and right tackle Johnson.

One massive change will be the departure of longtime O-line coach extraordinaire Jeff Stoutland. He’s been replaced by Chris Kuper, but Philadelphia’s new and next offensive line coach should have five returning starters at his disposal.
