Most years, the Houston Texans are among the league’s best in coaching, training facility, gameday atmosphere and more whenever surveyed by the NFLPA for their report card grades.

The 2025 season was no different, as the rankings were released by ESPN’s Kalyn Kahler following the NFL’s grievance win that barred the NFLPA from publicizing them on its own grades.

According to the statement released by Kahler, “this year’s report cards are based on responses from 1,759 players. All players who were on a 2025 roster at the time of the survey were eligible to participate, and it was conducted from Nov. 2 to Dec. 11.”

Let’s take at all 17 grades for the Texans amid the past year at NRG Stadium:

Offensive Coordinator: A-

Special Teams Coordinator: A

Treatment of Families: B-

Nutritionist/Dietician: A

Overall Rank: 7th

It’s no surprise that the coaching staff and general manager Nick Caserio have graded out with A’s or higher. Caserio has drafted well enough over the last three seasons to build a contending team, while staff turnover has been scarce outside of the fiing of offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik in 2024.

Perhaps the most surprising grade came from the gameday activities. A C+ for the home game field could be simply based on the fact that Houston practices at NRG Stadium. As for care of team families, a B- seems lowm especially given how much the team cares about making an impact for both home and away teams on gameday.

Overall, the grades are nearly identical to 2024. It doesn’t mean there’s not room for improvement, but there have been worse grades in the past surrounding the AFC South franchise that made them look like one of the worst teams in the league.
