Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Trace McSorley is joining the Buffalo Bills coaching staff as an offensive assistant, per Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports and Daniel Gallen of 247 Sports.

McSorley was previously on Penn State’s coaching staff under James Franklin, the same university and coach he played for from 2015-2018, becoming a three-time All-Big Ten selection before being drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He remained with the Ravens until 2021, when he then joined the Arizona Cardinals and served as a backup to Kyler Murray through 2022. He then had brief stints with the Chicago Bears, Steelers, and Washington Commanders.
