GLENDALE – To no one’s surprise, the NFLPA report cards were leaked, despite a recent grievance by the NFL to avoid this scenario. The league tried to save some teams’ dignity, like the Arizona Cardinals, by not having these report cards published to avoid public shaming for how bad the rest of the league views them. However, senior ESPN writer Kalyn Kahler released the list, and for fans, its not a shock to see who’s at the bottom.
Arizona moved up one spot to 31st compared to last year, but the real interesting nuggets from the leaks was Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill’s grade compared to his peers.

Full NFL Owner grades:
28 owners got a C or better, while four found themselves with a failing grade. The Cincinnati Bengals got a D+, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers fall right behind with a D. Bidwill was fighting to get out of last place and failed, as Pittsburgh Steelers edged him slightly with a D-. Thus meaning, Bidwill was the only NFL owner to get an F for his NFLPA report card grade.

In the past 10 years, Arizona has had one winning seasons and it’s not hard to see why when looking at the grades. The franchise received an F- for locker room, D+ for treatment of families, training room and weight room. The equipment and facilities for the players haven’t been up to par, which matches the play on the field.

Fans, and even Hall of Fame players like Cris Carter, has criticize Bidwill and the ownership group for their lack of commitment to winning. Across the Valley, fans have pleaded on social media for Bidwill to sell the team, but the 60-year-old seems committed to the Cardinals, building a new performance center in 2028.

Arizona Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill talks with head coach Jonathan Gannon before playing against the New York Jets at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on Nov. 10, 2024.
The only positive grades Arizona earned on its report card was regarding the coaching staff, which Bidwill just fired for new head coach Mike LaFleur and his staff. The franchise has become the laughing stock of the NFL and it begins with the F-rated owner to save the sinking ship or hand it off to someone who can.
