MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. (WAFF) – A West Morgan High School football player and his brother were injured in a crash Friday, according to the team.
West Morgan Football posted to Facebook that Shaun Harris and his brother, Nathan Harris, were both involved in a serious crash and were airlifted to Birmingham.
The team says both have endured several broken bones that require surgery.
Both will undergo surgery soon, the team says.
On Friday night, three people were airlifted to the hospital following a crash in Lawrence County, at the intersection of Alabama 24 and County Road 217.
At this time, it is not confirmed whether or not the two were injured in the Lawrence County crash.
