The 2026 league year is coming next month. It officially begins on March 11, with the legal negotiating period beginning on March 9.

The Arizona Cardinals have many roster decisions to make before then.

Leading up to the new league year, we will profile every player on the roster, go over what they did last season, what their contract status is and what they face in 2026.

Next up is tight end Pharaoh Brown.

Pharaoh Brown 2025 season

Brown started the season unemployed. However, the nine-year veteran was added after the Cardinals lost two tight ends to season-ending injuries. He was signed to the practice squad in Week 17 and was on the active roster starting in Week 10, filling the role of blocking tight end. He played in seven games, starting twice, the rest of the way.

He had two catches for one yard.

He played 59 offensive snaps and another 77 on special teams, logging two total special teams tackles.

Pharaoh Brown contract status

His contract expires in March and he will be an unrestricted free agent.

Pharaoh Brown offseason outlook

Now 31 years old and going unsigned until midseason, don’t expect him to be a priority for the Cardinals to bring back. One thing that was in his favor was having played with the Cleveland Browns in 2022 when Drew Petzing, the Cardinals’ former offensive coordinator, was there.

He has no such familiarity with the new offensive staff, so his time in Arizona is probably over.
