When the Atlanta Falcons hired head coach Kevin Stefanski back in January, they did not retain offensive coordinator Zac Robinson on staff. Instead, Stefanski brought in former Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator Tommy Rees to fill the role.
This move wasn’t a surprise since Stefanski intends to call plays and had previously worked with Rees in Cleveland. Robinson stayed in the NFC South, landing a job as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator.
All three coaches struggled in the latest NFLPA grades, though. Stefanski received the lowest grade (C-) of any head coach last year in Cleveland, and Rees’ D+ grade was the third-lowest of any offensive coordinator.
Robinson didn’t fare much better, earning a C- grade for his performance with Atlanta last season. Not only will the Falcons face their former offensive coordinator twice a year, but Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield has beef with Stefanski.

Both former Falcons head coach Raheem Morris and former general manager Terry Fontenot earned respectable B+ grades. Former Falcons special teams coordinator also received a B+ grade during his final season in Atlanta.
