2026 NFL combine results: Best performers at cornerback, including 40

Feb. 28, 2026, 6:51 a.m. ET

On Friday of the NFL combine, the cornerbacks were one of the position groups to go through the on-field testing portion of the event. This is a position where the Indianapolis Colts are positioned well heading into the offseason.

It looks like the belief as of now is that Charvarius Ward will continue to play in 2026. Joining Ward are Kenny Moore, Sauce Gardner, and Justin Walley, whom Shane Steichen is excited to get back. For depth, the Colts have Johnathan Edwards, Mekhi Blackmon, and Jaylon Jones.

Below are the top performers at cornerback from each NFL combine event.
