The Tennessee Titans have more cap space than any other team in 2026. As they prepare for the start of free agency, they’ve already nailed down some help on the edge by trading T’Vondre Sweat to the New York Jets for Jermaine Johnson. That won’t be the last of their attention to the edge, but there are other areas of need in Tennessee.

In a recent article on The Athletic by Dan Duggan, he suggests that the Titans can solve two problems with current New York Giants‘ players who are set to become free agents: right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor and wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson.

The Tennessee Titans stick out as an obvious destination for Eluemunor if they’re willing to move 2024 first-round pick JC Latham inside to guard. Like the Giants, the Titans have a young quarterback, Cam Ward, whom they need to protect. The Titans also have former Giants offensive line coach Carmen Bricillo, who was instrumental in Eluemunor’s development during their six years together. Former Giants coach Brian Daboll is also in Tennessee as offensive coordinator.

Protecting Cam Ward is a top priority for Robert Saleh, and with Brian Daboll and Carmen Bricillo on staff, it’s highly possible that the Titans acquire the veteran tackle. J.C. Latham has more size and power than Eluemunor and may actually be more successful at guard than he is at tackle. This take would absolutely solidify Ward’s right side.

The Giants’ wide receivers plan is murky. As with Eluemunor, they’d prefer to retain Wan’Dale Robinson at the right price. But the sense from league sources is the Giants are bracing for the wide receiver’s market to extend beyond their comfort zone. The Titans, with an NFL-high $94.8 million in cap space, figure to be a suitor for Robinson as well.

The Titans will absolutely be in the market for Robinson, and it’s very likely that the Giants get priced out of retaining him due to their lack of cap space. Robinson is a fantastic slot receiver, something the Titans desperately need. Van Jefferson was underwhelming last year, and Robinson is younger and better. Paired with Ridley, Elic Ayomanor, and Chimere Dike, Robinson would be a huge asset for Cam Ward.

Both of these scenarios significantly improve the Titans’ offense. Whether either of them lands in Tennessee remains to be seen, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see at least one of them in Titans’ blue this fall.
