The NFL killed the annual NFL Players Association’s report cards in a court ruling, but that didn’t stop them from being leaked.
ESPN obtained the results of this year’s survey, which grades franchises on an A-plus-to-F-minus scale. Topics range from ownership to coaches to nutrition to field quality.

According to ESPN’s report, the survey was based on responses from players who were on a 2025 roster when it was conducted between Nov. 2 and Dec. 11. Players were not required to participate and 1,759 players, or about 80% — not calculating players on injured reserve — participated.
The Buffalo Bills ranked 16th overall, a year after ranking 23rd and two years after being 11th. Team travel, which ranked last in the NFL a year ago, jumped to a B-minus this season.
Coach Sean McDermott’s grade also jumped from a B to an A-minus this year. The Bills received A grades in strength coaches, position coaches and weight room. They also received A-minuses in general manager, team ownership and offensive coordinator.
The training room and training staff received B-plus ratings, while the locker room received a B. The Bills were among the worst teams in the league when it came to quality of their field, receiving an F. Buffalo will be transitioning from field turf to natural grass when the new Highmark Stadium opens next season.
