The NFL set the official salary cap number this past week, setting the stage for the big pre-league year purge. With the official number coming in on the low-end of the previously publicized range, each of the 32 teams will have $301.2 million to play with for the 2026 season.

Some teams are in a better position than others as the March 11 date approaches. Others, will have to pull some levers in order to become cap compliant. As of March 1, there are 10 teams who are currently over the cap and have some work to do through either restructures, extensions or cuts.
