Some of the buzz coming out of the NFL combine is that three of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ own free agents have solid free agency markets developing.

Following NFL combine week, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano emptied their notebooks and shared everything that they heard with free agency on the horizon.

This included some info on Travis Etienne, Montaric Brown, and Andrew Wingard, all of whom are garnering some attention. Brown and Wingard were named “top sleeper free agents” by the NFL execs that Fowler spoke to.

Now, when it comes to Etienne, that doesn’t come as a surprise. Coming into the offseason, he was one of the better backs available in free agency, and recently, we’ve seen the running back market shrink with Breece Hall expected to be franchise tagged and Javonte Williams re-signing with Dallas.

Travis Etienne Jr., who sounds unlikely to be tagged by the Jaguars and should have a nice market,” wrote Fowler.

Fowler added that some teams that could be active in the running back free agent market include Kansas City, Houston, and the New York Giants.

Given the potential demand that Etienne will command, along with the Jaguars having Bhayshul Tuten and LeQuint Allen on the roster, it sure feels like Etienne will end up playing elsewhere.

Brown is coming off a very good season at cornerback, and teams have taken notice. He allowed a completion rate of just 54% on 68 targets and held opponents to just 10.4 yards per catch. He also came away with two interceptions and forced nine pass breakups.

Finding a way to bring back Brown should be on James Gladstone’s to-do list, but there could be some competition.

“He is well-positioned in the CB market after the top players are signed,” Fowler wrote.

Lastly, like Brown, Wingard took advantage of the starting snaps that came his way in 2025. He started 17 games last season. He made 89 total tackles, while recording one interception and four pass breakups in coverage.

“He capitalized on a starter role in Jacksonville and has early interest — not on a huge scale, but he will be a starter somewhere,” Fowler wrote.

Without Wingard, the Jaguars still have Eric Murray and Antonio Johnson — who really impressed last season — not to mention that the team just drafted Caleb Ransaw and Rayuan Lane last April.

Wingard, who has been with Jacksonville since 2019, could end up signing elsewhere during free agency, given the state of the Jaguars’ safety position, coupled with the opportunities he could have on other teams.
