With the Raiders pinned deep in their own territory, Donte Jackson and Tony Jefferson teamed up for a wild takeaway.
First, Jackson blanketed Donte Thornton, Jr. in coverage down the left sideline as quarterback Geno Smith lofted a pass Thornton’s way.
Jackson battled Thornton and deflected the ball into the field of play as he fell out of bounds … right as Jefferson came swooping in to catch the ball and get both knees down in bounds.
The interception was Jefferson’s third interception of the season and second against the Raiders as he also got one in Week 2 in Las Vegas.
