The Miami Dolphins have several players hitting the market this offseason, including their top backup offensive tackle, Larry Borom.
While Borom will be far from the biggest name on the free agent market when the new league year starts, ESPN’s Dan Graziano and Jeremy Fowler reported from the combine that he’s seen as a “top sleeper” in 2026 by NFL execs.
Miami signed the former fifth-round pick last year after four seasons with the Chicago Bears. While he was brought in to be a backup, Borom was thrust into the starting lineup due to Austin Jackson’s toe injury that he suffered in the season opener.
The 26-year-old appeared in 16 games for the Dolphins in 2025 and started 11, all at right tackle. Now, according to Graziano and Fowler, he’s set up to earn “low-end starter’s money.
With Kendrick Lamm, Miami’s other backup tackle, hitting the market as well, new general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan and head coach Jeff Hafley have to find some depth for their offensive line either through free agency or the draft.
