The Buffalo Bills and their receiver problem have gotten to a point where now, general manager Brandon Beane has to address it.

And for most, that means getting a top weapon for Josh Allen. A genuine No. 1 like A.J. Brown, not another Joshua Palmer. Someone who can make a big difference in how the offense operates.
Of course, that sort of player isn’t going to be cheap, and it isn’t known how much Buffalo is willing to spend.
But according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, it might not be that much after all.
“Rival teams expect Buffalo to strongly address wide receiver in the coming weeks,” Fowler wrote. “And multiple league executives are linking Rashid Shaheed or Romeo Doubs to the Bills.”

Is Shaheed or Doubs right for Bills?
Given Buffalo’s current receiver options, both are clearly better than any receiver on the Bills’ roster aside from Khalil Shakir.
Still, money will be a factor here.
Shaheed’s market value, per Spotrac.com is a crisp $14.1 million APY, while Doubs’ is $12 million APY.
So, either one is going to require decent investment from Buffalo, plus the franchise has the futures of Connor McGovern and David Edwards, both of whom could command big money, and are also priorities.
The Bills have needs everywhere, and they might not have enough cap space to fix them all.

But Shaheed or Doubs with Josh Allen? Yeah, that’ll work.
