Vanderbilt Health named official healthcare provider for Tennessee Titans

  • March 2, 2026

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Vanderbilt Health has been named the official healthcare provider for the Tennessee Titans.

The organizations announced the “multi-year agreement” on Monday, saying the partnership “brings two community leaders together for exciting new initiatives centered around the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and community youth sports.”

As part of the deal, Vanderbilt LifeFlight Event Medicine will provide first aid and emergency medical services for all events at the current and new Nissan Stadium.

“Everyone knows that nothing brings a community together like football,” said Dr. Jeff Balser, President and CEO for Vanderbilt Health and Dean of Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. “This long-term partnership with the Titans signals further expansion of Vanderbilt Sports Medicine into the Mid-South and comes at an exciting time with the new Nissan Stadium marking another major step in solidifying Nashville as one of the biggest sports and entertainment markets in the U.S.”

The announcement also noted that the team’s existing headquarters and practice facility on Great Circle Road in MetroCenter will be renamed as the Vanderbilt Health Football Center.

Vanderbilt Health is considered a “founding ‘Cornerstone Sponsor’” for the new stadium, Monday’s press release said, which means the healthcare provider’s name and logo will be present around the venue. The organization has also been working with the stadium to create a family area called the “Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt Terrace.”

“This is a testament to their commitment to delivering world-class medical care and serving communities throughout Middle Tennessee and the Southeast,” said Titans President and CEO Burke Nihil. “We know the caring spirit and distinctive capabilities that Vanderbilt is known for will allow us to continue our mission to win, serve, and entertain at the highest level.”
